Horowhenua District Council's providing financial assistance for locals impacted by last Sunday's severe weather

The region's Mayoral Relief Fund has been activated - as residents deal with the aftermath of property damage, unexpected costs, food spoilage, and other difficulties.

Waste pop-sites have been set-up throughout the district, with a water-conservation notice remaining for Foxton and Foxton Beach.
