National claims big changes are being mooted for the Department of Conservation

It's obtained leaked documents outlining a number of draft recommendation, from a group set up to review conservation laws.

Leader Judith Collins says the information suggests a possible transfer of powers in DoC estate to tangata whenua.

She claims it's an attempt by the Government to put in place an entirely radical view of the Treaty of Waitangi without public consultation.
