    Napier Port's likely to be impacted by plans to shut down two central North Island mills


    Winstone Pulp International has announced its intentions to close the Karioi Pulpmill and Tangiwai Sawmill - after electricity bills have risen by 600 percent in just a few years.

    More than 200 jobs are on the line.

    JMI Wealth Director Andrew Kelleher says Winstones is a big cargo customer for the port.

    Kelleher says this is tough for a region already beset with challenges
