Wellingtonians were rattled awake by a "moderate" earthquake this morning

The magnitude 3.9 quake was centred 10km east of Lower Hutt, at a depth of 14km.
It struck around 6=30.. with almost 7-and a half thousand people on Geonet reporting they'd felt shaking.
