Wellington drivers are being warned of disruption as major pipe work is being done beneath State Highway Two

Starting tomorrow Wellington Water is lining a wastewater pipe to prevent any potential failure, which it warns could cause serious environmental, traffic and public health issues.

Work will be happening 24 / 7 for two weeks.

Traffic management will be in place between Melling Link and Kennedy Good Bridge and one southbound lane will be converted into a northbound lane
