The number of Southerners without power is down to double digits - nearly two weeks since wild winds cut nearly 25 thousand homes off

PowerNet says 48 homes in Southland are still waiting to be reconnected, and 67 in South Otago's Clutha.
Both Clutha and Southland remain under a state of emergency until Friday at this stage.
