Aimee Fisher is vowing to continue to push Lisa Carrington after losing the battle for New Zealand's K1 500 spot for August's World Canoe Racing Championships in Canada

Aimee Fisher is vowing to continue to push Lisa Carrington after losing the battle for New Zealand's K1 500 spot for August's World Canoe Racing Championships in Canada

The Olympic champion has beaten the reigning world champ by a third of a boat length in their deciding third trial race on Lake Karapiro.

Two paddlers can represent their country in the discipline at the Olympics and Fisher says the K1 remains her priority, but she won't rule out competing in a K2 or K4 boat in the future.
