    To the perfect paddle at the Paris Olympics - on Gold Sport


    Dame Lisa Carrington, Alicia Hoskin, Tara Vaughan and Olivia Brett pipped Germany by 0.42 seconds.

    New Zealand's only previous K4 medal at a Games came when Ian Ferguson, Paul MacDonald, Alan Thompson and Grant Bramwell triumphed 40 years ago in Los Angeles.

    The victory marks Carrington's sixth Olympic gold.
