In a stunning move, Brian Flores has been sacked as coach of the Miami Dolphins, despite enjoying two winnings campaigns in three seasons after being hired to spearhead a rebuild for the franchise.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears have parted ways with Matt Nagy - a move that has been mooted for weeks.

The Minnesota Vikings have fired Mike Zimmer, who made the playoffs three times in eight years at the helm.
