Warriors interim coach Stacey Jones is searching for positives after his side's seventh straight defeat in the NRL

The Warriors have been hammered 40-6 by reigning premiers Penrith, conceding seven tries to one.

Jones handed 19 year old halfback Ronald Volkman his NRL debut and says he handled himself well to suggest he has a bright future.

The Warriors return to Mt Smart for their first time in three years against the Wests Tigers in a fortnight.
