Penrith have continued their NRL league dynasty with a fourth straight premiership

Penrith have continued their NRL league dynasty with a fourth straight premiership

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

That came courtesy of a 14-6 final triumph over Melbourne.

The last club to complete such a feat was St George with an 11th consecutive title 58 years ago.

The Panthers were last beaten in a decider by the Storm back in 2020.

Halfback Nathan Cleary's reflected on the turnaround since.

Melbourne counterpart Jahrome Hughes has dolloped out the credit.

The match had controversy - the bunker ruled a no-try on a debatable grounding by Melbourne's Jack Howarth in the 50th minute.

Cam Munster was also the subject of a biting allegation.
