Kiwi basketballer Yanni Wetzell will play for the South East Melbourne Phoenix in the next Australian Basketball league season

Kiwi basketballer Yanni Wetzell will play for the South East Melbourne Phoenix in the next Australian Basketball league season

Wetzell signed for the club in July, before exercising an out-clause in his contract the following month that allowed him to pursue a European contract.

Complications around passports have meant the former US college player can't enter and play in Germany, leading him to sign on again with the Phoenix.
