The Dallas Mavericks have knocked out the Utah Jazz in the first round of the NBA playoffs

The Mavs edged the Jazz 98-96 to seal the series 4-2... and progress to the Western Conference semifinals.

Also through today, the Philadelphia 76ers over the Toronto Raptors, and the Phoenix Suns... also 4-2 - eliminating the New Orleans Pelicans.
