    Breakers head coach Dan Shamir is leaving his post, a year before his contract was due to end


    Shamir has asked to return home to Israel to spend time with family after two seasons in Australia with the side.

    Mody Maor has been elevated from assistant coach to the top post for the upcoming season.

    The Breakers crashed to a last placed finish in their recent campaign.
