    Here's a summary of last night's trans-Tasman sporting duels..

The Black Caps and Silver Ferns have stumbled in their trans-Tasman duels but the Breakers have triumphed to sum up the latest full slate of lockdown sport.

The Breakers have secured back-to-back wins for the first time this Australian basketball season, defeating the Brisbane Bullets 97-92.

Coach Dan Shamir sums up the victory as they raced to a 27-12 lead after the first quarter.

The Webster brothers, Corey and Tai, starred - Corey sank a game-high 21 points while Tai added 19.

Australia's roared back into the five-match Twenty20 cricket series, winning by 64 runs in Wellington.

Chasing 209 for victory, the Black Caps slumped to 144 with spinner Ashton Agar taking six for 30 - that included the removal of Glenn Phillips, Devon Conway and Jimmy Neesham in one over.

Glenn Maxwell top-scored with 70 off 31 balls.

The Black Caps remain 2-1 up with two games to play.

New Zealand netball coach Dame Noeline Taurua remains resolute that her side can regain the Constellation Cup for the first time since 2012, despite a 45-36 loss to Australia to level the series in the second match at Christchurch.

Taurua says the next two days are important for the team to regroup to take the court stronger on Saturday night.
