Suzie Bates has a burning desire to score runs

The White Ferns all rounder is back in camp with the team in Mount Maunganui after spending some time on the sideline, thanks to a torn rotator cuff.

It's been a tough season for the White Ferns, who struggled with the bat in both the England and Australia series at home.

Bates says she's determined to turn things around.

The White Ferns tour of England begins at the start of September, playing three Twenty20s and five one day internationals.
