The Black Caps have been plotting out how to put the roadblocks on Pakistan's dominant start to cricket's Twenty20 World Cup

The Black Caps have been plotting out how to put the roadblocks on Pakistan's dominant start to cricket's Twenty20 World Cup

The two sides meet early tomorrow morning in Sharjah, just two days after Pakistan romped to a 10 wicket win over India to start their campaign.

New Zealand coach Gary Stead says his side needs to prepare to be on the back foot.

Brodie Retallick's pleased to welcome another member to the All Blacks locks club.

Taranaki second-rower Josh Lord made his debut in the romp over the United States, after being called in following the depature of Patrick Tuipulotu and Scott Barrett back to New Zealand.

Retallick, who will play alongside Lord when he returns to the Chiefs next year after a two-year sabbatical, says he's made an instant impact on him.

Courtney Duncan is vowing to keep getting better to stay ahead of the pack as she reflects on a third consecutive women's world motocross championship title.

The Dunedin rider clinched the championship in Italy at the weekend, and admits she's already thinking about next year.
