Sri Lankan off-spinner Nishan Peiris will make his test cricket debut in Galle in the second and final test against New Zealand at Galle starting at 4.30pm

Sri Lankan off-spinner Nishan Peiris will make his test cricket debut in Galle in the second and final test against New Zealand at Galle starting at 4.30pm

The 27-year-old replaces Ramesh Mendis, despite the latter's three wickets in each innings of their opening victory.

Mendis conceded 3.75 runs per over - spin bowling coach Craig Howard felt he was too expensive and slightly off his line-and-length.
