The West Indies have escaped one of the most ignominious records in test cricket

The West Indies have escaped one of the most ignominious records in test cricket

They've been dismissed for 27 in their second innings, which included a brood of seven ducks, as part of a 176-run loss to Australia on the third day of the third match in Jamaica.

Mitchell Starc finished with figures of six for nine from 7.3 overs.

He's reflected on advancing to 402 test wickets in the 3-nil series sweep.

Scott Boland became the 10th Australian to take a hat-trick during the innings, and the first since Peter Siddle in 2010.

New Zealand retain the lowest completed test innings of 26, set against England in 1955 at Auckland's Eden Park.
