The Sydney-based cricketer carted Vanuatu's Nalin Nipiko for 39 runs in the 15th over of a 10-run T20 World Cup qualifying win in Apia.
It was an over to forget for the right-armer - with the over going six, six, six, no-ball, six, dot, no-ball, a no-ball six, six.
Visser finished on 132 runs in his team's total of 174.
The over beat by three runs the previous record held by Indian Yuvraj Singh, who famously thrashed six sixes off Englishman Stuart Broad at Kingsmead in Durban on September 19, 2007.
