Former test bowler Neil Wagner says Tim Southee leaves the New Zealand set-up with some big shoes to fill

Former test bowler Neil Wagner says Tim Southee leaves the New Zealand set-up with some big shoes to fill

Southee will retire from the red-ball format after the home England series, but the 35-year-old will remain available if New Zealand qualify for the World Test Championship final.

Southee is this country's highest-ever international wicket-taker - with 770 in all formats.

Wagner says Southee never shied away from any challenge.
