    Black Caps all-rounder Nathan Smith is thrilled to be the latest to join the long list of New Zealand cricketers who have competed at a major tournament


    The 26-year-old and fellow pace bowlers Will O'Rourke and Ben Sears will embark on their maiden ICC event at next month's Champions Trophy in Pakistan and the UAE.

    The 15-man squad was named at a special event in Auckland, recognising the triumph of the 2000 ICC KnockOut Trophy-winning side.

    Smith is honoured to be part of this year's group.
