Harry Brook has pulled out of his Indian Premier League cricket deal with Delhi Capitals for the second season running, a move which could result in a two-year ban from the competition

The England batter has apologised to the franchise but stressed that playing for country remains his priority, despite signing for 1.34 million dollars per tournament.

The 26-year-old is one of the front-runners, along with test captain Ben Stokes, to replace Jos Buttler as England's white-ball skipper after their group-stage Champions Trophy elimination.
