    Black Caps bowler Blair Tickner has added to his status as a cult hero


    The 32-year-old earned back-to-back 'man of the match' honours in New Zealand's two wicket ODI win over England, to seal a three-nil series sweep.

    Tickner took four wickets, then added a vital 18 not out as part of a match-winning ninth-wicket stand to chase down 223.

    After only joining the squad as injury cover, Tickner admits he had to hunt for a decent bat.



    And Tickner enjoyed being a batting hero.
