    Batter Bevon Jacobs believes his time in the New Zealand A cricket side has elevated his domestic performances to start the home season


    The Aucklander spent time in South Africa with the national A team and the Black Caps in the Zimbabwe tri-series mid year.

    Jacobs had scored 369 runs at an average of 74 prior to today's Plunket Shield match against Canterbury.

    Jacobs wants to capitalise on the experience to earn more national honours.
