Next year's Paris Olympics has proven a bridge too far for Black Sticks hockey veteran Nick Wilson

The 32-year-old striker's called time on his international career after 181 tests and 78 goals for New Zealand.

He's competed at three Olympics with the next just over a year away.

But Wilson says he only appeared in Tokyo because it was postponed by a year.
