    Truncating the Mitre10 Cup rounds is one option for New Zealand Rugby as it considers the future of the competition


    A survey has been circulated to stakeholders to gauge feedback on the format and how it's presented, with the current broadcast deal expiring next year.

    New Zealand Rugby's head of participation and development Steve Lancaster says midweek games could be for the chop.

    He says they're asking whether people want to watch games at those times.
