The All Blacks wing has been playing at centre for the franchise during Super Rugby Aotearoa - a competition he says tougher on the body that the regular Super Rugby competition.
And Ioane is likely to play more games at centre in the coming seasons after the Blues signed wing Mark Telea to a new two year deal.
