New Zealand Rugby is welcoming World Rugby's new law changes to the community game

New Zealand Rugby is welcoming World Rugby's new law changes to the community game

The global body's signed off 10 law variations to boost participation and safety at grassroots level, which will come into effect from January.

Participation development manager Mike Hester says the announcement helps mould the game around players, as opposed to moulding players around the game.

Chris Pither is feeling for fellow New Zealand drivers Greg Murphy and Richie Stanaway, after the duo were forced to withdraw from this weekend's Bathurst 1000 due to MIQ difficulties.

Pither hopes to see the Kiwi duo on the Bathurst grid in the future.

Lakers superstar LeBron James is listed in the NBA team's health and safety protocols and is sidelined for at least 10 days.

It's unclear whether James has contracted Covid-19 or is a close contact.
