A couple of All Blacks will sit out Moana Pasifika's home game against the Chiefs in Pukekohe on Friday night with minor injuries

A couple of All Blacks will sit out Moana Pasifika's home game against the Chiefs in Pukekohe on Friday night with minor injuries

Ardie Savea is out for the hosts with a short-term hamstring injury that also saw him miss the second half of the win over the Hurricanes.

The Chiefs will again be without midfielder Anton Lienert-Brown after his late withdrawal from the win over the Blues with a leg issue.

The Crusaders have endured some early week disruption heading into Saturday's Super Rugby derby against the Blues at Eden Park.

Braydon Ennor and Ethan Blackadder were initially listed to play - but have been scratched with hamstring and quad issues respectively.

That sees Dallas McLeod return at centre - and Tom Christie retain the seven jersey.

Coach Rob Penney's named Noah Hotham on the bench after suffering an ankle injury on the opening night against the Hurricanes.

Highlanders midfielder Thomas-Umaga Jensen has been named for his first Super game since May 2023, on Saturday against the Reds.
