A former All Blacks first-five has made his prediction for the Rugby Championship - and it's one that will disappoint New Zealand fans

Carlos Spencer has told South African outlet SportsBoom that the Springboks are favourites for the competition starting next weekend.

The 35-test playmaker says the Boks are the number one side in the world for a reason - making them the team to beat.

Spencer's prediction takes into account the All Blacks recent series against France - where he says the home side struggled at times against a weakened French outfit.
