    The Seattle Seahawks have locked up top seed in American football's NFC with a 13-3 win over the San Francisco 49ers


    Top seed and a week off from the opening week of the playoffs was the prize with both sides placed in the NFC-West, but the Seahawks were able to keep the 49ers offence quiet.

    The Seahawks finish the regular season with a 14-win-three-loss record, while the 49ers will be seeded either fifth or sixth for the playoffs depending on how other results go tomorrow.
