Crusaders assistant coach Matt Todd has acknowledged the hurt at seeing his side languishing in Super Rugby

The 14-time champions - and winners across the last seven seasons - are 10th with a franchise worst record of 10 losses from 12 appearances.

Todd won three titles as a player, but was also part of the last Crusaders side to miss the play-offs in 2015.
