New Zealand Rugby are unconcerned by another high profile sevens player code-hopping to rugby league

Double Black Ferns Sevens Olympic gold medallist and two-time world sevens player of the year Michaela Blyde has signed with the New Zealand Warriors for next year's NRLW.

Blyde follows the likes of Stacey Waaka, Tyla King and Niall Williams-Guthrie in giving league a go.

NZR's general manager of the professional game Chris Lendrum says Blyde has achieved everything she can in the sport.

Blyde plans to return to Sevens after her league stint.
