A fully-clothed Tyson Fury has weighed in at his heaviest mark ahead of tomorrow morning's heavyweight boxing showdown against Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh

A fully-clothed Tyson Fury has weighed in at his heaviest mark ahead of tomorrow morning's heavyweight boxing showdown against Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh

The Brit - sporting a leather jacket - tipped the scales at 281 pounds or about 127 kilos ... that's 55 pounds or 25KG heavier than Usyk, who weighed in at a career-high 226 pounds - or 102KG - while also fully kitted.

Boxing promoter Frank Warren says the numbers on the scale will be irrelevant once the pair enter the squared circle.

A spot on the Ladies European Golf Tour next season has been secured for Kaiapoi golfer Amelia Garvey.

She's finished fourth in a qualifying tournament in Morocco overnight to earn her card.

Garvey will join fellow Christchurch golfer Momoka Kobori on the European tour.

Canterbury golfer Amelia Garvey has earned her place on next season's Ladies' European Tour.

Garvey's finished fourth in a qualifying tournament in Morocco overnight and will join compatriot Momoka Kobori on tour.

A replacement has been found for Liam Lawson at the Racing Bulls Formula One team, following the Kiwi's promotion to Red Bull.

French-Algerian driver Isack Hadjar, the Formula 2 runner-up, will team up with Yuki Tsunoda next season.

Lawson will partner Max Verstappen at Red Bull in 2025, replacing the axed Sergio Perez.

The Breakers feel the chemistry is growing with mid-season signing Tacko Fall, despite their losing streak in the NBL extending to seven games.

The centre, who's almost 2.3-metres tall - that's 7-foot-6 - put up 15 points and 9 rebounds in the side's latest loss to the Sydney Kings by 8 points at Spark Arena.

Guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright says Fall is taking a step in the right direction.

The Breakers next take on the Tasmania JackJumpers on Christmas Day.

Warren Gatland has survived a performance review by the Welsh Rugby Union and the Kiwi will stay on as the head coach of Wales for next year's Six Nations.

Wales have lost 12 straight games and have completed their first winless calendar year in test rugby for the first time since 1937.

A statement from the Welsh Rugby Union says they considered "wholesale immediate change", but instead they've issued a warning to Gatland that he must start delivering results.

Warren Gatland will remain as Wales head coach for the 2025 Six Nations, but the Kiwi's been warned by the Welsh Rugby Union that he must start delivering results.

Wales have lost 12 straight games, finishing the entire calendar year without winning a test for the first time since 1937.

A statement from the Welsh Rugby Union says they considered "wholesale immediate change" as part of a review, before deciding that challenging Gatland to change the nation's fortunes on the pitch was the best approach.
