    A household name has announced her retirement from international rugby..


    Brazier's stepping away after an 18-year career that included that extra-time winning try to beat hosts Australia in the 2018 Commonwealth Games women's sevens final - from the Newstalk ZB archive.

    The now 36-year-old also won gold at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and claimed two World Cup title in the 15s game.

    Brazier will continue her transition into coaching.

    She's been appointed Chiefs Manawa assistant for this year's Super Rugby Aupiki - after most recently serving an assistant at Global Youth Sevens and with the New Zealand Development Sevens team.
