World Cup and Commonwealth Games winning former Australian netball coach Lisa Alexander's interest in the North Melbourne Kangaroos AFL head coaching job has been shortlived

Melbourne's The Age reports Alexander planned to apply for the vacant role.
However, later in the afternoon she was informed she would not be getting an interview.
Alexander had earlier said that while she didn't expect an interview, she would be disappointed if she didn't get one.
