    Utter disappointment for the Stars


    The south Auckland netball side has missed out on the ANZ Premiership playoffs after a 46-45 loss to the Southern Steel in Auckland.

    Missed shots cost the Stars, with skipper and goal shoot Maia Wilson scoring 11 goals from 21 attempts, shooting at 52 percent.

    Wilson told Sky Sport she's taking responsibility, because her performance wasn't up to scratch.



    The southerners have booked their spot in the elimination final on August 1st, and they will come up against the Tactix.
