The Central Pulse have played it safe with one of their Silver Ferns shooters, in the early games of the ANZ netball Premiership

The Central Pulse have played it safe with one of their Silver Ferns shooters, in the early games of the ANZ netball Premiership

The Pulse rested Ameliaranne Ekenasio during their 12-goal win over the Tactix, after she picked up a knock during the recent win over the Magic.

Pulse coach Yvette McCausland-Durie says they're working Ekenasio slowly back into things.

She says Ekenasio's tracking well and they thought it was worth resting her so she can give 100 percent next game.

The Pulse next meet the Northern Stars in a week's time.
