George Russell's converted pole position into a first podium of the season at the Canadian Formula One Grand Prix in Montreal

The Mercedes driver finished third after relinquishing his lead to Max Verstappen early.

Verstappen clinched his sixth win of the season - Lando Norris was second.

    Russell is celebrating their competitiveness.

Scott McLaughlin's finished third as part of a Team Penske trifecta in the IndyCar series race at Wisconsin.

He had periods in the lead, but didn't have the late pace to match winner Will Power and runner-up Josef Newgarden.

McLaughlin has been on the podium three times this season from seven events.

Scott Dixon finished 21st - he's dropped to third in the standings behind Power and Alex Palou .
