    A stamp of approval from former Supercars driver Greg Murphy for the competition's new format next year


    The season will be split into three phases, including an elimination finals series to determine the champion across the last three rounds.

    The calendar will be expanded, with ten more races boosting the roster to 34 total across 13 rounds.

    Murphy says Supercars needed a makeover.
