    The Formula One commission has approved plans to run the sprint format at three grand prix weekends - Imola, the Red Bull Ring and Interlagos - this season


    The concept, consisting of a 100-kilometre dash of up to half an hour, was introduced last year and determined the grid for Sunday grands prix.
