Indycar driver Marcus Armstrong is circling the Indianapolis 500 on his calendar as a key race for his upcoming second season

The 23-year-old completed an orientation programme last October to become eligible to race at The Brickyard.

The race will also be Armstrong's first-ever oval circuit in IndyCar, after competing in only road and street courses in his rookie year.

Excitement is already brewing for the young driver.
