    Satisfaction for Liam Lawson after his eighth place finish at Formula 1's Belgian Grand Prix


    He's picked up four championship points and again bettered Racing Bulls teammate Isaac Hadjar - who finished last after battling power unit issues.



    In Indycar - Scott Dixon's finished the best of the Kiwis in fifth at the Grand Prix of Monterey in California, with compatriots Marcus Armstrong eighth and Scott McLaughlin 10th.

    In Nascar's Cup Series - Shane van Gisbergen's placed 19th at Indianapolis.
