Co-coach Chris Knight's revealed skier Alice Robinson tired out two different brands of skis before deciding to stick with German company Volkl for her Olympic campaign

Co-coach Chris Knight's revealed skier Alice Robinson tired out two different brands of skis before deciding to stick with German company Volkl for her Olympic campaign

Equipment failure's been highlighted as a major factor in Robinson's Giant Slalom struggles this season - the Kiwi is the only star on the World Cup circuit to use Volkl.

But Knight says while they tested Head and Solomon skis at the end of last season, ultimately they went with what they knew.

Robinson needs a top 10 finish in Sweden this weekend to qualify in GS for next week's World Cup finals.
