Great snow's forecast for Mount Ruapehu in the coming week -- but whether there'll be skiing this season's still uncertain

A five million dollar lifeline loan from the Government to the liquidator of Ruapehu Alpine Lifts aims to let the mountain's fields keep running.

Before iwi announced a bid Pure Turoa had said it could open fro business on July 1.

Now, it says there are 'serious concerns' about what facilities can operate under a liquidator-run season.

It says there's at least a million dollars of 'deferred maintenance costs'.

It also says because of uncertainty, it's behind on staff recruitment.
