Today's A-League men's game in the sun at Mt Smart Stadium has been an entertaining encounter, so far, in front of a decent crowd

A Neyder Moreno strike on the stroke of 9 minutes put his Auckland FC in the lead, the Colombian sneaking the ball in at the near post against Macarthur FC, after a headed flick-on off a throw-in.

Moreno then nearly gave a penalty away - but the visitors levelled the scores from open play anyway on 19 minutes, Jake Hollman pouncing on a loose ball after an Alex Paulsen save.

    At halftime it's still 1-all.
