    One Auckland FC player is extra grateful after their latest match in football's A-League


    The Black Knights claimed a 2-1 win away to the Central Coast Mariners, despite Callan Elliot's defensive header rocketing into the wrong goal.

    The right back recalls a sense of relief when Auckland striker Sam Cosgrove scored the winner, with a perfect header of his own.



    Auckland have a trip to face the Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday night.
