Second half drama in the Champions League football clash between Benfica and Real Madrid in Lisbon

Second half drama in the Champions League football clash between Benfica and Real Madrid in Lisbon

The match has been delayed for 10 minutes after the Brazilian forward scored the opening goal for Real five minutes into the second spell on DAZN .

Vinicius was yellow carded for an over exuberant celebration directed at the home fans - before chaos ensued and walked off the pitch and refused to continue.

Benfica opponent Gianluca Prestianni has also been at the centre of the situation - Vinicius seemingly irate at something uttered by the Argentine winger.

Adding to the drama - the Portuguese side's manager Jose Mourinho has been red carded and sent to the stands after an 85th-minute tackle.

12 minutes added time has been required - Real remain 1-nil up.
