    The Football Ferns are formulating a plan of action for the next World Cup cycle, which they'll begin in February without a new head coach


    Interim manager Michael Mayne will guide the New Zealand women through two fixtures in Costa Rica.

    A recruitment process to officially replace Jitka Klimkova will start early next year.

    Mayne says it's a perfect opportunity to play tough opposition.
